The item listed is an O.E.M. dual solenoid valve manufactured by Whirlpool for Kenmore. It is designed to coordinate with ice maker systems that have water filters embedded in the refrigerator. This valve accepts water direct from the filter instead of from the home supply line. The item pictured is an OEM substitute. Please sub out the yellow terminal on the original for the red pictured and all will work perfectly.

Most all infrared sensor controlled ice maker systems will take this updated style as the factory authorized replacement. The part numbers are out dated and the listing is the factory authorized replacement only for original valves that receive from the filter and come with quick connect fittings The listed valve  may differ in appearance, but is the correct replacement.
