PLEASE SEE OUR TIME AND $$$ SAVING TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS PAGE FOR INFRARED SENSOR CONTROLLED ICE MAKERS BEFORE YOU BUY.RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR TRIAL AND ERROR, MISDIAGNOSED TROUBLESHOOTING OR RELATED ERRORS!!!.
Just Ice Makers does not sell or have access to other components that may be part of the troubleshooting process i.e. the solenoid valve or external infrared sensor shut off micro computer card(s), so please troubleshoot carefully and see all listing pictures before you buy. You may want to try cleaning the emitter and receiver 'eyes' of the ice level controls with rubbing alcohol and a q tip before you buy. These original ice makers are very well built and I would strongly recommend troubleshooting the system 'to death' before ordering the new replacement (and non-returnable) ice maker listed.
This listing is for a brand new factory authorized OEM 230 volt infrared sensor controlled ice maker and comes with a 12 month replacement warranty. The item for sale includes the ice maker, end cover, and wiring harness only. The part number listed may be out of date at this time.
Just Ice Makers DOES NOT SELL after market, used, or refurbished products of any kind. The replacement pictured does come with an ice mold that makes smaller cubes than the original w10190947. This upgraded design also comes with 'cooling fins' that make for more frequent ice production.
Please see the picture on the far right is the side of the ice maker motor. That is the all important and easy to access push button water intake control and indicator light. Neither the end cover nor the ice maker need to be removed to adjust the water intake for smaller or larger cubes. Simply remove the cover insert below the indicator light and depress inside button with very small round object no more than 2mm in diameter. If nothing else is available a paper clip will work. If you depress several times the process will recycle starting with less intake to more etc. You probably will need to reduce the water intake if replacing the original w10190947. If you prefer the larger cube size that may have come with the original w10190947 you may transfer the orginal ice mold, and heating element from the original to the new replacement motor as pictured. These replacements are very hard to come by and I would strongly recommend keeping the replacement ice maker in tact as much as possible. The ice mold on the original WILL ERODE, so it would be best to try and make the unit pictured work in spite of the smaller cube issue. We have sold several of these (the 120V version) to stateside online customers who were able to make them work without issue.
The listing is the most new, updated and factory authorized replacement ice maker.
